Restaurants
One of the highlights of the Ball is the opportunity for local restaurants,
caterers and purveyors to showcase their finest foods.
From fine dining establishments such as the Monkey Cat, Bootleggers and
Carpe Vino to caterers such as Cathy's Catering, and My Girl Friend’s Kitchen,
in 2007 some
35 food venues were in operation. Of
special note, Thunder Valley Casino featured offerings from its
restaurants—
Austin ’s Steakhouse, Koi Palace, and Feast Around the World.
Raley’s/BelAir was back again this year with a major food presence.
In 2007, the restaurants were highlighted in food courts, serving incredible edibles from their own menus. Thunder Valley (serving all night long from all its fine restaurants), and Raley's were on the streets of Auburn's Black & White Ball. And for you late-night eaters, in the Casino Royale venue, we provided desserts and coffee from 9:00pm - 1:00am.
